求函数\(y=\sqrt{x+27}+\sqrt{13-x}+\sqrt{x}\)的最大值与最小值。
解
\(y'=\cfrac{1}{2}(\cfrac{1}{\sqrt{x+27}}+\cfrac{1}{\sqrt{13-x}}+\cfrac{1}{\sqrt{x}})\)
令\(y'=0\)时,\(\cfrac{1}{\sqrt{x+27}}+\cfrac{1}{\sqrt{x}}=\cfrac{1}{\sqrt{13-x}}\),解得\(x=9\)
又函数定义域为\(0\le x\le 13\)
故函数最大值与最小值必定在\(x=0,9,13\)处取到
经计算,得\(y(0)=3\sqrt{3}+\sqrt{13},y(9)=11,y(13)=2\sqrt{10}+\sqrt{13}\)
通过比较,知\(y\)在\(x=9\)时取到最大值\(11\),在\(x=0\)处取到最小值\(3\sqrt{3}+\sqrt{13}\)
