An Important Person

In my life, the most important person is my mother. She always encourages me when I face difficulties. She tells me never to give up and to try my best, no matter what happens. One special experience really shows how much she means to me.
It was after a midterm exam. I usually did well in school, but this time I failed. I was so sad that I cried when I told my mom about it. She listened and then said, “It’s just one exam. It doesn’t mean anything bad. You just need to work harder on these parts. You can do better next time.”
Her words made me feel better. She didn’t just talk; she helped me. She sat with me and looked at the exam together. She showed me where I went wrong and how to fix it. She reminded me that I had done well before and could do it again.
With her help, I felt stronger. I studied really hard and didn’t give up. When the final exam came, I was ready. I got third place in my class!
My mom taught me that failing isn’t the end. It’s a chance to learn and get better. She showed me how to turn a bad situation into something good. She is the most important person in my life because she always believes in me and helps me when I need it.
