突然思考如果我要写论文，那么 intro 的 background 怎么写。仔细分析了一下，发现每篇论文的第一段是大同小异的，所以直接粘过来改改措辞就行了。剩下的 motivation 就可以自己发挥了。

• practitioner n.执业人员，从业者

• in case of 以防万一
  in the case of 在某种情况下

• friction 摩擦力

• signpost 路标，指示牌。 setting 是十字路口那些“中山路”“横一路” 的立杆

• versus 这个词的 abbreviate 是 vs.，这就很清晰了

• intimacy n.亲密关系/亲密的行为/sexual relationship

  achieving intimacy with other person 和别的人建立亲密关系

  intimate adj.亲密的 v.示意，暗示 intimate sth. to sb.

• suppress v.
  1.武力镇压 suppress a rebellion 镇压起义
  2.to prevent sth from being published or made known：the police was accused of suppressing vital evidence.
  3.克制，忍住 to suppress a smile 憋笑
  4.抑制 suppress the appitite 抑制食欲
