Dragon Boat Festival

During the Dragon Boat Festival,I was warmly invited by my dormitory mates to visit Shangrao.When I arrived there, uncle and aunt greeted me with big smiles and made me feel at home right away.They were really hospitable and took good care of me during my stay.

Shangrao is a beautiful place with amazing natural scenery.As I walked around,I saw green mountains in the distance and clear rivers flowing gently.The air was so fresh that it made me feel relaxed and refreshed.It seemed like nature's gift to this place.

One of the highlights of my trip was eating the zongzi made by my aunt.She wrapped the glutinous rice with bamboo leaves and added some delicious fillings.The zongzi was soft,sticky,and sweet.It was a taste I had never experienced before and it was simply delicious.

My friends also took me to watch the dragon boat races.It was an exciting event.Teams of people paddled the dragon boats with all their might.The boats moved quickly through the water and the sound of drums filled the air.It was a great way to celebrate the festival and I enjoyed it very much.

We also walked around the art street together.There were many interesting shops and stalls along the street.They sold all kinds of local handicrafts,paintings,and other artworks.Each item had its own unique charm and reflected the local culture.I was fascinated by the creativity and skills of the local artists.

I had a wonderful time in Shangrao.The beautiful scenery,delicious food,and interesting activities all left a deep impression on me.I felt very grateful for the invitation from my dormitory mates and the warm hospitality of my uncle and aunt.I hope to visit Shangrao again in the future and explore more of its beauty and culture.
