A story of revenge

A long time ago,there was a beautiful princess who was kind and amiable.All the subjects in her kingdom loved her dearly.The princess had a smooth life from childhood,except for one tragic event:her mother had died of illness when she was young.To better take care of the princess,the king found her a stepmother,who was also the princess’s aunt.The stepmother treated the princess very well,caring for her as if she were her own daughter and showing her great affection.Gradually,the princess let down her guard and began to trust her stepmother wholeheartedly.

A few years later,the stepmother fell ill.Worried about her health,the princess prepared meals and brewed medicine for her every day.One afternoon,the princess had to attend to some other matters,so she prepared everything in advance.As she approached the door,she overheard the stepmother talking with a servant about the death of her own mother.To her horror,she learned that it was the stepmother who had killed her mother,all in order to use the pretext of caring for her to enter the palace.The princess was devastated and heartbroken.She decided to take revenge.

She put a small amount of slow-acting poison in the soup.Since the dose was very small,no one noticed anything unusual.However,over time,the poison accumulated in the stepmother’s body.Her illness did not improve and,eventually,she died from the poison.
