Taking the scene in Gone with the Wind where Scarlett swears in front of the ruins as an example.
1.Scene: After the Civil War, Scarlett returned to her home,which was already dilapidated. Faced with thoroughly hunger and hardship, she stood in front of the ruins, holding soil and swearing never to be hungry and to give her family a good life.
2. Modes: Visual mode, Scarlett's determined gesture, the dilapidated estate. Auditory mode,Scarlett's firm voice, the sound of the wind.
3. Shots: Establishing shot,the entire desolate landscape of Tara Manor allows the audience to understand the scene. Reaction shot, Scarlett's resolute expression highlights her inner determination. Perspective shot, from Scarlett's perspective, it reveales her inner activity.
4. Camera using: The camera angle is taken from above,to highlight Scarlett's tall image and reflect her perseverance. The camera's motion is stationary.The use of natural light creates a tragic atmosphere.The use of gloomy color reflects the dilapidated ruins.
5. Music: The background music has a passionate melody, and a strong sense of perseverance and never giving up wells up in my heart.
6. Effect: it not only demonstrates her perseverance, making the audience deeply feel her determination,but also better reflects the struggle and progress of the characters in that special age.
