What can be inferred from the passage
What can be inferred from the passage 的意思并不是字面意思, 即 从文中可以推断出什么, 这个是主旨大意题, 也就是说, 题目在考察我们整篇文章在说什么, 想向我们传达什么, 而我们可以通过经常出现的关键词来判断文章的主旨, 而不是在考察我们通过文章的某个句子, 我们可以推断出什么也即 rather than relying solely on explicitly stated facts., 而判断文章的主旨大意, 一定要找到论据来支撑我们的观点

"When asked 'What can be inferred from the passage?' in a reading comprehension question, it means you need to determine the implied or suggested meaning that can be drawn from the information provided in the passage. Inference involves making logical connections, drawing conclusions, or making educated guesses based on the information and context provided, rather than relying solely on explicitly stated facts.
To answer this type of question, you should carefully analyze the passage, consider the details and ideas presented, and think about what the author is implying or suggesting. Look for clues, implicit information, or indirect statements that can help you make reasonable inferences about the intended meaning or message behind the text.
Inference questions require you to read between the lines and use your critical thinking skills to make deductions based on the available information. It is important to support your inferences with evidence from the passage and avoid making assumptions that are not supported by the text.
