General Purpose of the Job

·         Manages and sets priorities for the proper maintenance, design, development, and evaluation of infrastructure systems such as LAN, WAN, Internet, Intranet, data communication systems, and other related security systems. Ensure and enable most optimal cost-performance ratio to support the business with necessary IT infrastructure.

·         Effectively coordinate the hardware and software support for all aspects of ASST China organization such as PC, servers, printers, network equipment.

·         Plans, organize, leads and manage the local technical staff and/or third party partners

·         Monitor the technical environment to ensure a proactive support

Main Responsibility Areas

·         Coordinate and execute user support in China (mainly: network, e-mail (Exchange), printer, MS-Office problems)

·         Participate in developing and implementing overall IT objectives, strategies and plans.

·         Ensure that global policies are know and applied

·         Maintain local systems and administrate them (E-Mail-, File-Servers, Active Directory, etc.)

·         Supervise, trains, assign works and evaluate assigned staffs and consultants

Needed Competencies

·         Software, hardware, network equipment, current trends and technology in industry

·         Project planning skills

·         Personnel management (Build and continuously develop the regional skill-set and service attitude)

Education

·         University education desirable; fluency in English

Needed Work Experience

·         A strong “on the job” work experience in IT Infrastructure is needed for a multi-location and multi-cultural environment.

·         Server and Network Administration experience is needed – Microsoft technologies
