What can change the CID of a NX license server?

(1) The CID is comprised of a number of system configuration items. For

security reasons the entre list is not published.

 

(2) There are changes on a NX license server that can change the CID which

requires Siemens PLM to regenerate a new license file. Here is a list of items

that can change a CID:

  - hostname change

  - ip address change

  - domain change

  - add or remove hardware: disk, motherboard, etc

  - operating system install, even using the previous hostname, ip access, etc   - alter computer name
