How to process EWA report by SAP for ABAP without Solution Manager system?

SAP Note 207223 contains the configuration steps for sending ABAP EWA data to SAP, and generate the EWA report on SAP EWA Viewer.


Basically, the steps are:

  1. execute report RTCCTOOL in transactions SE38/SA38 and prepare the system.
  2. activate SDCCN as SAP Note 763561.
  3. schedule task 'Maintenance task' in SDCCN.
  4. create the EWA task via: SDCCN -> Task -> Create -> Request session data -> Periodic -> Earlywatch Alert -> Continue
