Dear Jun,
Sorry for delaying the letter until now. I'm not deliberatly writing in English to create difficulties for you, but that I think I can communicate with you more easily and clearly in English than in Chinese. So if you have any complain, bear it, and take this as a oppotunity to practice English, will you?
This midday you called me and we had an unpleasant conversation. I appologize for my hash words, maybe I am gloomy and upset these days. So I was impatient and offended you. This is my fault. But I still insist on my opinion. You seem to lack enterprise about your career and future. The fact is: If you keep staying in such research institutes, the salary is too low for you to stand on your feet in

Just for a better job in the future. Even our tutor says, “Though the tuition is high, you can earn it back in a few months, if you are a post-graduate.” So why aren’t you confident about yourself? I’m not persuading you to do sth for me, but for your own sake. You should pay attention to this matter and think it over twice.
I find we always bicker on this matter and it has been a barrier between us. You blame me for emphasizing too much on money, but I think I’m innocent. I am not strive to be a millionair, giving up family and love. I just want to live a better life, it’s everyone’s dream; Are you satisfied with your present status and not desirable for a change? When you face the awkward situations that you can’t meet your end can’t buy what you long for, you can’t afford the high tuition for your child, are you still satisfied with yourself and live a happy life?
Well, I’m loquacious and want to prove I’m right, maybe it’s just in vain. You can’t agree with me.
OK, I respect your choice and are willing to hear your reasons, whether in English or in Chinese.
Yours for ever
Hua

your beloved
