今天早上收到了一封主题为.NET Micro Framework SDK Release Candidate邮件,其内容如下:

We've just posted our first Release Candidate for the .NET Micro Framework SDK 3.0 to the Microsoft Connect Site. It contains many new features, improvements, and bug fixes suggested by the beta community and our own internal testing. These include:

  • Support for Visual Studio 2008 SP1 (in fact, it's now required)
  • Support for Visual C# 2008 Express Edition
  • File system (including emulator support)
  • Significant DPWS improvements
  • WiFi support (pending hardware availability)
  • Performance optimizations
  • New sample code and improved documentation
  • Did I mention that we fixed a lot of bugs? :-)

If you're running 3.0 beta firmware, you'll need to update it to work with the RC. Several companies are very close to a release, so keep an eye on the newsgroups and the "Latest News" area of our Connect home page for the latest information. No updates are required if you are targeting 2.x firmware.

Please continue to submit bugs through the Connect site and discuss your experience on the newsgroup. Though we don't always get to respond to every query and request, we do review everything posted and submitted, and the input we get from beta participants like you has a big impact on the quality and direction of our product.

     由于前一阵子正在写一本关于.NET Micro Framework的书,对此方面也有些了解,知道这个消息后,很希望能把关于前一段对.NET Micro Framework的开发经验进行分享。
