A new Arch!
I bought a new desktop comp today. Here is what it looks like:
CPU: INTEL Pentium G3258
MB: MSI B85-G41 PC MATE
RAM: Kingston DDR3 1600 4G *1
HD: Samsung EVO 120GB SSD *1, WD 3TB *2, Hitachi 500GB *1
Case: Vision GX10
Power Supply: Greatwall 'king of quad-core 500s', 400w
My intention is to build an almighty Linux desktop workstation for daily use. Arch become the choice because it give me full control of the entire system, and I liked it's package management tools (yaourt) so much!
There are gonna be lots of articles coming to fine record the roadpath that I build a workstation for almost every aspect of daily use, including Internet surfing, Office, Image processing, Photo management, Shopping etc, and Programming of course. There are gonna be lots of softwares to be installed. And I've decided to exam them piece by piece to get some in-depth view of them.
So, let's Rock & Roll!
