description:

windows phone emulator is unable to connect to the windows phone operating system:
the emulator is unable to determine the host ip address, which is used to communicate with the guest virtual machine.

solution:

1.start hyper-v manager
2.click 'virtual switch manager'
3.remove the 'Windows Phone Emulator Internal Switch' from the list, and apply the changes.
4.start the emulator afterwards required an elevation of privileges for the system in order to create the switch again.

failed while removing virtual ethernet switch.

internal miniport delete failed, internal nic = '{...}': invalid parameter(0x80041008)

1.reinstall hyper-v
