英语阅读_trip to New Zealand in March 2025

This report is about our recent Year 9 trip to New Zealand in March 2025.

这份报告是关于我们最近在2025年3月前往新西兰的九年级之旅。

The aim is to see if we should suggest it to future students interested in travel and culture.

其目的是看看我们是否应该把它建议给未来对旅游和文化感兴趣的学生。

Host families

寄宿家庭

The families were friendly and welcoming.

这些家庭非常友好且热情。

Many students said they were kind and generous.

许多学生说他们既善良又大方。

However, some lived far from school, so we had to wake up very early.

然而，有些家庭住得离学校很远，所以我们不得不非常早起床。

I think next time, we need to find host families that are not far from the school.

我认为下一次，我们需要寻找离学校不远的寄宿家庭。

Despite the warm welcome, a few students found language daily communication with their host families challenging, especially during dinners.

尽管受到了热烈的欢迎，少数学生仍然觉得与寄宿家庭的日常语言交流具有挑战性，特别是在晚餐期间。

School life experience

学校生活体验

We attended local school classes.

我们参加了当地学校的课程。

The lessons had more group discussions and outdoor learning.

课程包含了更多的小组讨论和户外学习。

One afternoon, we had a science lesson in a park, and a geography class at the beach.

一天下午，我们在公园里上了科学课，在海滩上上了地理课。

It was inspiring seeing how New Zealand students study.

看到新西兰的学生如何学习是非常给人以启发的。

The beach class turned out to be a favourite, as we rarely get such visible and creative experiences in Shanghai.

事实证明海滩上的课程最受大家喜爱，因为我们在上海很少能获得这样直观且富有创意体验。

Cultural activities

文化活动

The teachers planned fun activities.

老师们规划了有趣的活动。

They found tour guides who were interesting and easy to understand.

他们找到了有趣且语言通俗易懂的导游。

We visited Auckland, Rotorua, and the Hobbiton movie set.

我们游览了奥克兰、罗托鲁瓦和霍比特人电影片场。

Sadly, local students could not join us because they had school.

令人遗憾的是，当地学生因为要上学而无法加入我们。

One memorable moment was when our students experienced a traditional Maori welcome ceremony.

一个令人难忘的时刻是当我们的学生体验了一场传统的毛利人欢迎仪式。

Friendship and memories

友谊与回忆

Most of us spoke English with our host families, which helped us feel confident.

我们当中的大多数人都与寄宿家庭用英语交流，这帮助我们感到自信。

Some learned about Maori customs.

有些人了解了毛利人的风俗习惯。

Keeping a travel diary would help us remember the trip.

写旅行日记会帮助我们记住这次旅行。

Looking back, many students admitted that stepping out of their comfort zone was the most valuable lesson.

回顾过去，许多学生承认走出自己的舒适区是最宝贵的教训。

Overall, both Shanghai and New Zealand students enjoyed the trip.

总体而言，上海和新西兰的学生都享受这次旅行。

I would happily recommend it to others.

The trip was a perfect solution to our daily stress, and it will remain a peaceful memory.
