Many parents want their children to be famous one day.
许多父母希望他们的孩子有一天能出名。

But do children have the same dreams?
但是孩子们也有同样的梦想吗？

A new opera—Hi, Ke’ai is on at Beijing Children’s Art Theatre.
一部新的歌剧——《你好，可爱》正在北京儿童艺术剧院上演。

It tells the story of a boy called Ke’ai.
它讲述了一个叫可爱的男孩的故事。

His parents would like him to become a painter or a musician one day.
他的父母希望他将来成为一名画家或音乐家。

They teach him to paint and to play the violin, but Ke’ai doesn’t enjoy these activities.
他们教他画画和拉小提琴，但可爱并不喜欢这些活动。

Then one day Ke’ai’s parents see Ma Long win a gold medal at the Olympic Games, and they want him to be a sportsman.
后来有一天，可爱的父母看到马龙在奥运会上赢得了一枚金牌，于是他们希望他成为一名运动员。

“Why do they want me to be someone else?”
“他们为什么想让我成为别人呢？”

Ke’ai asks and says, “I only want to be myself.”
可爱问道并说道：“我只想做我自己。”

The play shows us that it is good for parents to learn to understand their children.
这部戏剧向我们表明，父母学会理解自己的孩子是很重要的。

It helps parents to think about what kids want to do.
它帮助父母去思考孩子们真正想做什么。

Young audiences enjoy the story, and also the music in the play.
年轻的观众不仅喜欢这个故事，也喜欢剧中的音乐。

There are two songs in the play.
这部戏里有两首歌。

One of them, Ke’ai’s Song is very easy to learn, so the audiences can sing the song on their way home after the play!
其中一首《可爱的歌》非常容易学，所以观众在看完演出回家的路上就能唱这首歌了！
