The International Civil Aviation Organization of the United Nations (ICAO) has officially recognized China's Beidou Navigation Satellite System as a global standard, according to the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) on Thursday.
据中国民用航空局(CAAC)周四表示,联合国国际民用航空组织(ICAO)已正式认可中国北斗卫星导航系统为全球标准。

Beidou has become one of four global satellite navigation systems recognized by the UN.

The other three global satellite navigation systems are the United States’ GPS, Russia's GLONASS and the European Union's Galileo.
