The police do many things for us, "They help keep us safe, They help keep cars moving safely They take eare of people who are hurt, Then they see that these people get to a --docotr.
警察为我们做了许多事。"他们帮助我们保持安全，确保车辆安全通行，照顾受伤的人，并确保这些人得到医生的救治。"

Police go around the town to see that everything is all right in many ways. Some of them walk or go by car, ln the big cities some of the police ride on horses, lt is strange to see these animals in the street.
警察在城镇各处巡逻，确保一切正常。他们有的步行，有的开车，在大城市里，有些警察还会骑马——看到这些动物出现在街头总让人觉得新奇。

As they go around the town, the police help people. Sometimes they find missing children.
巡逻时，警察会帮助民众。有时他们能找到走失的孩子。

They take the children home, Sometimes people will ask the poliee how to get to a place in town.The police can always tell the people which way to go.
把孩子送回家；有时人们会向警察问路，而警察总能指明方向。

Some poliee stand at crossings, They tell the cars when, to go and when to stop, They help children cross the street. They also help people who can't walk too well.
有些警察驻守在十字路口，指挥车辆何时通行何时停下。他们帮助孩子过马路，也协助行动不便的行人。

Without the police, our streets would not be safe, We should respect the police because they do a good job.
若没有警察，我们的街道将不再安全。他们出色地履行着职责，值得我们尊敬。
