Now we know about vitamins and how each kind of vitamin helps in the growth of a special part of our body, There are on the market all kinds of vitamin pills which one can take to make up for one's lack of certain important things that are needed for normal health.

Of course, if we eat well and properly , the food that we eat will take care of our body without these pills, Vegetables contain a lot of vitamins.
当然,如果我们饮食得当,摄入的食物就足以维持身体健康,无需这些药片。蔬菜含有大量维生素。

For example , tomatoes are rich in vitamin C, So there is no need to take any kind of vitamin pills unless our doctor tells us that our bodies are short of something that can be supplied by them.
例如西红柿富含维生素C。因此除非医生告知我们体内缺乏某种可通过维生素片补充的物质,否则没有必要服用任何维生素补充剂。

Generally speaking, everything we eat does some good to our body, but if we eat too much of one kind of food and don't give enough care to others, then we may be in trouble.
总的来说,我们摄入的所有食物都对身体有益。但若过量食用某一类食物而忽视其他种类,就可能引发问题。

We are often told that we must eat more meat at each meal to get the necessary protein. That is only partly true for protein is not found only in meat.
