Camels are amazing animals. They aren't the most beautiful animals in the world.But they are certainly the most useful animals in hot areas such as North Africa and the Middle East. 

骆驼是神奇的动物。它们虽非世界上最美丽的动物，但绝对是北非和中东等炎热地区最有用的动物。

They usually help people carry things. Now let's learn more about camels.

There are two kinds of camels on the earth, They are Arabian camels and Asian camels.Arabian camels are dromedaries(单峰骆驼),but Asian camels are bactrianus双峰骆驼).

地球上存在两种骆驼：阿拉伯骆驼（单峰驼）和亚洲骆驼（双峰驼）。

An adult camels about 2 meters tall and weighs about 500 kilograms. 

成年骆驼身高约2米，体重达500公斤。

 

Its legs are long.And its feet are big and soft.

它们腿长，脚掌宽大柔软。

Most of the camels can live for about 40 years , but they usually stop working when they are about 25.

大多数骆驼能活40年左右，但通常在25岁左右就不再劳作。

 

Camels live on their own in the desert, They aren't afraid of the hot and cold weather.
The mainly eat grass , leaves and bushes. They can walk for more than 600 kilometres without drinking They only need to drink water every six or eight days. But when there is water, they can drink up to 90 litres. Camels walk slowly. They don't like running because it's too hot. But if they need, they can run at 20 kilometres an hour.

骆驼独居沙漠，不惧酷暑严寒，主要以草、树叶和灌木为食。它们可连续行走600多公里不需饮水，每6到8天才需喝水一次，但遇到水源时能一次性饮用90升。骆驼步履缓慢，因天气炎热不喜奔跑，但必要时时速可达20公里。
