The red kangaroo is a famous special Australian animal. It moves by jumping on its long hindlegs.

红袋鼠是一种著名的澳大利亚特有动物。它通过用长长的后腿跳跃来移动。

One jump may be 9 meters long and up to 3 meters high. ts heavy, long tail helps it keep balance.

We can find the red kangaroo mainly in the dry grassland of Australia.

It usually travels in smallgroups. Each group has 2-10 kangaroos.

When a red baby kangaroo is born, it is only a few centimetres long. After being born, it crawlsthrough the mother's fur to her pouch.
