Mountains and rivers

The Yangtze River is the longest river in China, flowing through 11 provinces. It has a total length of over 6,300 kilometers and eventually empties into the East China Sea. Known as China's "Golden Waterway". It is one of the most important rivers that nurtured Chinese civilization.

Rivers are generally sourced from high mountains, and the Yangtze originates from the Tanggula Mountains on the Tibetan Plateau, with an elevation of about 6,600 meters.
