Russian cosmonauts film

Russia made a movie on the International Space Station (ISS)! It is now showing in China.The movie is called The Challenge. It tells the story of a Russian doctor. She goes to space tohelp a sick Russian cosmonaut. The movie makers filmed it on the real ISS and the cosmonauts in it are real Russian cosmonauts. The actress, Yulia Peresild, played the doctor. She had never been to space before. To be in the movie, she had to train for six months, Then, she flew to the space stationon a rocket and stayed there for 12 days.
The movie's director, Klim Shipenko, went to space with the actress. He filmed over 30 hoursof video on the space station and tried not to miss anything..“Everything about this project was a challenge,”said Shipenko. He hopes the movie could help more people know about the real space.
Why is filming in space a hard task?To go to space, people need to be healthy and strong.Only a few people can go to space at a time. So the director needs to do many different jobs,such as taking care of the lights and the camera.
Everything floats and shakes in space. It's hard for the director to move the camera and keep his legs and feet out of the shot.
The ISS goes around the earth about 16 times a day. It means people on it can see the sunset 16 times. It's hard for the director to use the light from the windows.
