The Very Hungry Caterpillar
In the light of the moon a little egg lay on a leaf.
One Sunday morning the warm sun came up and --pop!
--out of the egg came a tiny and very hungry caterpiller.
He started to look for some food.
On Monday he ate through one apple,
but he was still hungry.
On Tuesday he ate through two pears,
but he was still hungry.
On Wednesday he ate through three plums,
but he was still hungry.
On Thursday he ate through four starwberries,
but he was still hungry.
On Friday he ate through five oranges,
but he was still hungry.
On saturday he ate through one piece of chocolate cake,one ice-cream cone,one pickle,one slice of Swiss cheese,one slice of salami,
one lollipop,one piece of cherry pie,one sausage,one cupcake,and one slice of watermelon.
That night he had a stomachache!
The next day was Sunday again.
The caterpiller ate through one nice green leaf,
and after that he felt much better.
Now he wasn't hungry any more --
and he wasn't a litter caterpiller any more.
He was a big,fat caterpoller.
He built a small house called a cocoon,
around himself.
He stayed inside for more than two weeks.
Then he nibbled a hole in the cocoon,
pushed his way out and ...
he was a beautiful buttlefly!

以下这些是可以慢慢玩的，有些我们做过，有些还没有做。
1、自制风琴式洞洞书，拿硬点的卡纸正折反折，折成如图所示形状，贴上或画出各种水果，在每种水果上剪出圆洞。用毛根条做成毛毛虫，和小朋友一起玩毛毛虫吃水果的游戏吧。边玩边说：The caterpillar ate through one apple ...
2、毛毛虫喂食：准备一些食物卡片，用卡纸剪出一个胖胖的毛毛虫，中间挖空，贴在自封袋上，就可以给毛毛虫喂食了。
3、毛毛虫剪纸：这个游戏可以锻炼孩子手的控制力，较小的孩子可以使用安全剪刀。
4、用食物做出美味的毛毛虫，然后开心地吃掉。我都是家里有什么就用什么做，不够精美，但孩子玩得很欢乐、吃得也很欢乐。

有心找会发现很多，但我觉得使用身边方便的材料就行了。
5、毛毛虫认数字，还可以用毛球对应颜色
