Win7 : 'java' is not recognized as internal or external command,

Java application is not working in Win 7 64-bit

Method 1:

Check to see if you have the latest Java updates from the following link.

Download Free Java Software

http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp

Method 2:

You may also try to re-register the jscript.dll file. This can be done by executing the following steps:

a)         Click Start.

b)         Click Run.

c)          In the Run box, type in (without quotes) "regsvr32 jscript.dll" and click onOK.

You should receive a popup says that it registration succeeded.
