Resolve SSL Certificate in WPS

If the portal needs to receive response from the URL, which use the https protocol.Your must configure the SSL Certificate in the WPS. If not, the WPS would not trust the URL, and your portal would receive the response failed. Please follow the steps to resolve this problem.

• Access the IBM Administrative Console.

    E.g. Click the Console URL https://{HostName}:10041/ibm/console/.

• Security -> SSL certificateand key management -> key stores and certificates - >NodeDefaultTrustStore -> Signer certificates -> Retrieve from port.
• Enter remote machine name at Host.

    E.g. The Web Service URL: https://{RemoteName}/Webservices/Service.asmx.

    You can use the {RemoteName} as the Host.

• Enter 443 of the remote machine at port. Note: The HTTPS use the port 443 to communicate.
• Enter Alias for reference. (Give any name, you want)
• Apply and save the changes. The WPS will give the certificate for you.
• Restart the WPS. <StopServer.bat WebSphere_Portal and  startServer.bat WebSphere_Portal>
