Self-promotion

As an employee in VPT:

I apply for promotion to Associate Manager on the basis of demonstrated performance in Web development and application deployment. Since joining our company on Nov 8, 2004, my skill in Web technologies, application deployment and project management has been advanced rapidly.

Before join ex-IDW, I just expert in Web design and little experience in coding.
But now I have:

• Extensive knowledge of HTML, XHTML, DHTML, CSS, ASP, ASP.NET(C#), AJAX, JavaScript, XML, MS Office SharePoint Server, SQL Server, ACCESS, Photoshop, Flash and more;
• Comprehensive Internet background including IIS, FTP, Domain, and most MS Windows Server knowledge;
• Strong personal skills including focused listening, logical thinking, and working in a high-pressure team-oriented environment. Rapidly adapts to new technologies, standards, and ideas.

Since commencing at IDW Websites (Extranet and Intranet), the allocation of my work has been distributed evenly across Web design, programming and application deployment. The following statement sets out my significant achievements in each area during the last 3 years.

I currently have many ideas to improve our Intranet (Displays Employee Intranet):

• Perfect the core structure – HR system. The basic data come from BADAMA only include the Employee ID starting with “04-”. We need to maintain other employee information in our Intranet. But the system is faulty. It affect the sections Chart by Person, Key Staff Locator and more.
• Rid of the login function for internal read user. So that, all Flextronics staff can visit our Intranet too.
• Improve some important sections using new technologies to be more functional, easier to use and more user-friendly.

For a web developer, the more users (visitors), the more demonstration for his works. We are growing up in challenge

In summary I believe that my experience and technologies meet the standard of performance expected for promotion to Associate Manager.

Of course, this is only my personal wish. If it does not pass , please forget it.
