A Two-day Tour in Nanchang

This is the most unique May Day holiday. My two classmates and I visited the lively and crowded city – Nanchang. Holiday is a good chance to see the beautiful world.
Today travel is becoming more and more popular. For many tourists, making a plan before starting their trip is important to have a good time. We are no exception. We made a perfect plan together.

At 9 a.m. on May 2nd, we started our journey. That morning, weather was nice that sun brightened the entire world. When we walked out of the subway station and arrived at Bayi Square, crowded people let us feel a sense of desperation.


We were complained that why there so many people. But nothing could reduce our passion at the beginning of the journey. We taking many photos with our phone. An announcement was sent to our ears “Dear passengers, the music fountain show is about to start. Please watch it in an orderly manner.” Then we appreciated the stunning shows. Everyone let out cheers when the water column rushed towards the sky. When the water droplets fell, everyone ran away with laughter. I held an umbrella and moved forward.

Then we immediately went to Nanchang Bayi Uprising Memorial Hall. We just want to take photo with it at the door, but there so many people and we even need to wait in line to reach the door. So we gave up. But we found a good location to take picture. Then we took picture on the opposite street. It was a funny idea but it helped us finishing our goal. There nothing was difficult if you are determined.

We also visited the Badashanren Meihu lake scenic spot. When I wandered in the yard, I associated with a lot of knowledge on our textbook. And what impressed me most is some old trees. These trees looked very tall and endured lots of hardship. They are over 500 years old. Everything surround them was changing in the past time, but they stood here year and year. A attraction with the historical basic must move the people living on the land.


Qiushui Square was the most interested station in our plan. We arrived about one hour ahead of time and find a good place to see the music fountain show. In our waiting time, we decided to sat on the ground because we were tired. Later I found a funny thing that people around us also sat down gradually. At that moment, I felt a sense of proud of us. Our young people were seeking a new lifestyle in the regular and demanding society.

With the music plays, some water flowers were blooming on the surface of the lake. Then every water column was shaking, they could shaped a fan shape, and they also could rush toward the sky shaping a wall. The show not only displayed the softness of the water, but also presented the water’s strength.



What a trave gives us more than charming scenery or delicious food but rather a new experience with different people.
