实验2:Open vSwitch虚拟交换机实践

实验目的

能够对Open vSwitch进行基本操作;
能够通过命令行终端使用OVS命令操作Open vSwitch交换机,管理流表;
能够通过Mininet的Python代码运行OVS命令,控制网络拓扑中的Open vSwitch交换机

实验环境

Ubuntu 20.04 Desktop amd64

实验要求

(一)基本要求

(1)/home/用户名/学号/lab2/目录下执行ovs-vsctl show命令、以及p0和p1连通性测试的执行结果截图


(2) /home/用户名/学号/lab2/目录下开启Mininet CLI并执行pingall命令的截图


上述目录下查看OVS流表的命令结果截图,wireshark抓包截图

个人总结

本次实验总体来说难度不大,实验思路和代码逻辑也比较容易理解,但是有很多细节需要关注。最重要的一点就是有很长一段时间我执行sudo ovs-ofctl -O 的指令都没办进行,它一只反馈说s1 is not a bridge。我自己查了很多资料按照上面的方法做也不行。后面问了问同学才知道是要同时打开另一个窗口,在里面把相关的文件打开,这样才能捕捉到s1。通过实验,我还学会了使用wireshark进行抓包,也是在同学的帮助下才能成功抓包。总体来说,通过本次实验,我发现自己总是会遗漏一些很小的细节,这些都值得我去反思反省,在下一次实验中加以避免。
