A High Performance Data Switch for Enterprise Applications
Oracle's Sun Datacenter InfiniBand Switch 36 binds Oracle's Sun Blade and Sun Fire servers and storage systems into a highly scalable, space-efficient 36-node cluster. It can also be used as a leaf switch in larger InfiniBand fabrics. Its low cost and low-latency Quad Data Rate (QDR) performance are a boost for clustered databases, data warehousing, high performance computing (HPC), converged datacenter fabrics and high performance storage.
