I have two different kind of configurations for a project that will produce dll with different names. The files are generated ok, but I have to register the files manually afterwords or change the regsvr32 /s /c "$(TargetPath)" to use the new specified dll-name for the configuration i am using. I get the following warning:
iCOMSMI_PD.exp : warning LNK4070: /OUT:iCOMSMI.DLL directive in .EXP differs from output filename "iCOMSMI___Win32_Debug_PD/iCOMSMI_PD.dll"; ignoring directive
The problem is I can't find the place where /OUT:iCOMSMI.DLL is specified. Even though it is ignored so everything works, I would like to know where to change this so I can get rid of the warning. Anyone?

If you edit your .def file, you'll find a line that says
LIBRARY xxxxxx.lib
Simply delete the file name and leave the line to just say
LIBRARY
That will get rid of your problem.
