The wolf is coming.
I'm a common farmer in the village. One day, while I was busy with farm work, I suddenly heard the shepherd boy shouting, "Wolf! Wolf! Help me!" I quickly put down my work and rushed up the hill as fast as possible with other villagers, armed with tools. When we got there, there was no wolf at all. The shepherd boy was laughing at us for being fooled. I heaved a sigh of relief, but anger welled up inside me. Although we were angry, seeing that he was just a child, we gave him a warning and then went back down the hill.
A few days later, I heard the cry of "Wolf!" again. Despite my doubts, I still ran to help with other villagers, yet unexpectedly, we were deceived by the boy once more. I sternly warned him that if he kept lying, no one would trust him anymore. But he didn't seem to care. I felt powerless.
Later, one day, I heard his cry of "Wolf!" again. But this time, I thought he was playing a prank again and ignored him. When he and his sheep didn't return in the evening, we went up the hill and saw that many sheep had been killed by the wolf. The shepherd boy was crying, saying that the wolf had really come. We felt both angry and regretful, hoping that he could learn this lesson and be an honest person.
