Reflection

I have benefited a great deal from these two workshops. I have learned the proper application of different media elements such as images, videos, and audio, which has greatly enriched my writing knowledge and improved my writing skills.
When studying character description, the teacher, with the help of rich literary work cases, explained in depth how to create vivid character images through various techniques. I have learned to use detailed descriptions to capture the unique aspects of a character's appearance, language, actions, and expressions, so as to reveal their personalities.Film analysis has also been very rewarding for me. I have learned to analyze a film from multiple dimensions and understand the close connection between a film's cinematographic language, character creation, and theme expression. Regarding the cinematographic language, I have learned about the different emotions and messages conveyed by different shot sizes and shooting angles. For example, close-up shots are often used to highlight a character's expressions and emotional changes, while full shots are used to show the environment and atmosphere.

In daily writing, character description techniques can make the article more vivid and interesting, attracting the readers' attention. The methods of film analysis can help me better understand literary works, excavate the deep meanings of the works from multiple angles, and make my analysis more comprehensive and in-depth. In addition, these techniques also help me better convey information and enhance the expressive effect through vivid descriptions and clear logic.
I suggest adding more practical sessions in future activities. For example, special exercises on character description and film analysis can be set up so that we can consolidate the knowledge we have learned through hands-on operations. In addition, group discussions and peer evaluation activities can be organized so that we can share our views and experiences with each other, find our own shortcomings from the feedback of others, and further improve our writing abilities.
My enthusiasm for writing has been further stimulated, and I have felt the infinite charm of writing. Every time I master a new writing technique, I feel a great sense of accomplishment and look forward even more to my progress in writing. These workshops have exercised my powers of observation, analysis, and creativity. I have learned to express my thoughts in a more diverse way.
