哈菲兹诗歌《吃穿工作》

 

我从小憩中醒来，
同样清晰的话语映入我的脑海，

那句我每天醒来时说的话：
“在哪我能找到那位朋友？”

我吃穿工作
只为了这一个原由。

可是为何今天要解释这重要性，
还屈贬了其神圣？

我们是一对酒吧里的水手，
被放逐的，

需要好酒和陪伴，
好使我们感觉真实

否则,
我担心那古怪的表情，
有时会在你的双眼蔓延,

那似乎是要将我这个糟老头
错当成一个美丽单身的美人鱼。

每一天醒来，
我对我的心说的第一句语总是：
“有那位朋友的消息吗？”

Otherwise,
I am concerned about that odd look
That sometimes creeps into your eyes –

That seems to mistake me for a pretty,
Available mermaid.

Upon waking each day
My first words to my heart always are

“Any news of the Friend?”
