写作时避免重复

若要表达同一个意思是，可变化句式，变为被动句式，非谓语句式等等（需要积累）。
如：Children should wear school uniforms.
->(被动) School uniforms should be worn.
->(非谓语) It is nice for students to wear school uniforms.

简单句

结构 = 名/代 + 动
“可数名词单数” - 不孤单 -加修饰词/加限定词/改复数
动词--vt + 句子（宾从）或 be + 句子（表从）
注意动词时态
复杂句：非谓语、从句、虚拟、倒装（后两者不重要）

---

积累

单词

下降：decrease/decline/drop/fall (+from ... to ...)
上升：increase/rose/go up/grow (+from ... to ...)
percentage & proportion：前者“百分比”，后者“比例，部分，均衡
million是可数名词，但是前面有具体数字不加s，如2.5 million.
marry vt.结婚（注意，及物动词必须加宾语！ get married正确）
deficient [dɪˈfɪʃnt] adj. 不足的；有缺陷的；不充分的
questionable a.可疑的，有问题的
影响 influence（思想/行为） infect（环境）affect （环境）
's & of：前者 有生命的，后者 无生命的，表所属

句式

Whether...is a frequent topic of discussion（...是一个经常争论的话题）
It is ... for ... to ... （对于...做...是...的）
There be + 数字 + 名词（定从）+时间/地点
注意：There be和have都表示“有”，但have强调所属关系

例句

1、吸烟者的数量从1960年的5000人降到2000年的3000人。(过去式）
The number of smokers decreased from 5000 in 1960 to 3000 in 2000.
2、已婚的美国成年人的百分比下降了 10%，从 1970 年的 70%降到 2000 年的 60%。
The percentage of married American adults dropped by 10% from 70% in 1970 to 60% in 2000.
3、看太多暴力和不健康的内容能够影响年轻人的行为。
Seeing too much violence and questionable/unhealthy content can influence young people's behavior.
4、在屏幕前长时间对眼睛有害，例如视力会下降。
Hours in front of a monitor are harmful to the eyes. For example, the eyesight will be weakened.
5、看电视和玩电脑游戏不但浪费时间而且有潜在危害。
Watching TV and playing computer games are not only a waste of time but also potentially harmful.
6、在1970和1980年有250万人结婚。
There are 2.5 million people who got married in 1970 and 1980.
7、2004年教学楼位于学校的西北边
The teaching building was located in the northwest of the school in 2004.（注意，不能用located而要用was located，因为locate意思是“定位”，教学楼被人定位在某处）
