One of my friends in ShangHai told me that he went on strike. My friend is a transit worker. He earned less money but did huge work. He said they want raises 10% to 15%. But the managers ignored their problem.
None of trains ran during the strike.The strike added 275,000 extra commuters to the rush hour traffic. Rush hour took 6 hours instead of 2 hours. There were not enough parking spaces for all the cars. More people complained the goverment.
At last, The goverment tried to solve the problem. They had a meeting to settle the strike. They promised that they could pay a 8% raise.
