An agenda is a list of meeting activities in the order in which they are to be taken up, beginning with the call to order [要求与会者安静] and ending with adjournment [短时间休会]. It usually includes one or more specific items of business to be acted upon. It may, but is not required to, include specific times for one or more activities. An agenda may also be called a docket, schedule, or calendar. It may also contain a listing of an order of business.

A political agenda is a list of subjects or problems (issues) to which government officials as well as individuals outside the government are paying serious attention at any given time.

A personal organizer, datebook, date log, daybook, day planner, personal analog assistant, personal planner, year planner, or agenda, is a small book or binder [活页夹] that is designed to be portable [便携]. It usually contains a diary, calendar, address book, blank paper, and other sections.[

In computing, a user agent is software (a software agent) acting on behalf of a user, such as a web browser that "retrieves, renders [呈现] and facilitates [使容易] end-user [最终用户] interaction [交互] with Web content."

In many cases, a user agent acts as a client in a network protocol [协议] used in communications within a client–server distributed computing system. In particular, the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) identifies the client software originating [发起] the request, using a user-agent header, e.g. "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:47.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/47.0"

A real estate agent's job is to sell houses or land for other people. A travel agent  owns or works in a travel agency.
