Create My Site失败，Log中出现空引用的解决办法

SharePoint 2010中点击My Content Create My Site的时候出现以下错误，

同时log中出现以下Error：

情况1：

My Site creation failure for user 'Domain\xxxx' for site url 'http://site/my/personal/userxxx'. The exception was: Microsoft.Office.Server.UserProfiles.PersonalSiteCreateException: A failure was encountered while attempting to create the site. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

情况2：

The exception was: Microsoft.Office.Server.UserProfiles.PersonalSiteCreateException: A failure was encountered while attempting to create the site. ---> System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: The system cannot find the path specified. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070003)

问题原因：My Site Host所在的WebApplication中没有Root Site collection，导致在创建My Site的时候出现问题。具体问题原因深究的话请使用Reflector查看UserProfile.CreateSite函数。

 

解决办法：Very Easy，为My Site Host所在的WebApplication Create一个Root Site Collection。再重新点击My Content来创建my site，问题解决。
