马刺击败尼克斯

拉斯维加斯，7月16日——在周三由EASPORTS公司赞助的NBA夏季联赛UNLV大学六场比赛的第一场中，在Danilo Gallinari因背部有伤缺阵的情况下，Roger Powell得到全场最高的15分带领马刺以82：67击败尼克斯。

马刺将夏季联赛战绩提升到2胜1负，而尼克斯则是1胜1负。

圣安东尼奥的Lan Mahinmi和James Gist都取得两双，Mahinmi得到14分并攻下10个篮板，Gist则取得10分10板。

在关键的第三节Powell连取6分带领马刺以单节28：16的比分弥补了半场4分的落后而领先尼克斯队。

在第三节比赛还剩两分钟时圣安东尼奥已经取得51分，Powell和Malik Hairston合力拿下全队单节28分中的12分。

尽管马刺在第四节只得到12分，而尼克斯再也没有取得领先过。

LAS VEGAS, July 16 – Roger Powell led all scorers with 15 points as the Spurs outlasted the Knicks, playing without lottery pick Danilo Gallinari who was out with a sore back, 82-67 in the first of six games Wednesday on the campus of UNLV as part of the 2008 NBA Summer League Presented by EA SPORTS.

The Spurs improved to 2-1 on the summer, while the Knicks fell to 1-1.

San Antonio's Ian Mahinmi and James Gist each chipped in with double-double performances, as Mahinmi totaled 14 points and pulled down 10 boards and Gist had 10 and 10 .

Powell scored six points in a decisive third quarter as the Spurs outscored the Knicks 28-16 in the quarter to overcome a four-point halftime deficit.

San Antonio tied the game at 51 with under two minutes left in the third. Powell and Malik Hairston combined for 12 of the team’s 28 third-quarter points.

New York never regained the lead in the fourth quarter, as the Spurs' defense yielded only 12 points.

The Knicks were led by Anthony Roberson who finished with 12 points. Wilson Chandler and Paul Miller scored 10 apiece in the loss.
