Gilead stands for Generic Light Entity Adapter.It permits you to send Persistent entities (and especially the partially loaded ones) outside the JVM (GWT, Flex, Web-Services, ...) without pain.No LazyInitialisationException. No DTO mapping. Just POJO and Domain Driven Design :) !
