Pleasant Thought for Morning

Hiding your face in my neck 

 and hiding your hands in my hair 

 

hiding your lips on my lips 

 to stop the words before I speak 

 

hiding in the space around 

 the space I have dressed you in 

 

wings of hardened spirit. 

Angelot, a new day is here, 

 

hide your sobs¹ and feed me
