PP: Pie Chart or Pizza: Identifying Chart Types and Their Virality on Twitter - ICWSM2020

Purpose: understand how visual data "travels" on Twitter. 

Contribution: 

  • they propose a neural network architecture
    • identify whether a post includes a chart
    • distinguish among different types of charts
    • predict how much they will be shared

相比于传统的，twitter posts 包含text, and non-chart related images.
