Dear Sir

I have already told you the schedule about our work in this genomic institute. And I have another something as follow to tell you.

1.         The difficulty and complexity, which we are encountering, are really far more than what we expected and took it for granted before. (Make sure about that) shotgun in detail is far more full of questions than what I learnt in the college book. That is a baby and first step for shotgun strategy.

2.         What we are doing in here currently is to find the relationship of non-repeat sequences’ order and next week we will design the PCR primers in large quantity.

3.         Almost everybody in my lab knows there are some problems non-technically in this project. But they all gave the wrong way for troubleshooting. Including of you sir and Mr. Yu, I feel. Later we will talk this in person, how to resolve those non-technical problems and it is more important than giving them money and pressure in this bottleneck.

4.         I strongly believe that this project has a bright future!!!!!! At least at present by my intuition. This genomic is expected to be a little more than 6M. The key difficulty is no reference that is including of the latest Bt genome in NCBI. I believe that and don’t doubt it cause if available they would have checked the genome by them for many time. The difference will be the foundation of a good paper.

5.         Contact to Mr. Bao who is in charge usually, he is really good at the sequencing and analysis for which I make sense it is not wasting my time to be here. But he is not a good controlling person lack of collection and arranging abilities.

bless us   Tony Hangzhuo
