Getting Started

First of all, DON’T PANIC. It will take 5 minutes to get the gist of what Elasticsearch is all about.

 

Requirements

You need to have a recent version of Java installed. See the Setup page for more information.

 

Installation

• Download and unzip the Elasticsearch official distribution.
• Run bin/elasticsearch on unix, or bin\elasticsearch.bat on windows.
• Run curl -X GET http://localhost:9200/.
• Start more servers …

elasticsearch-6.6.1.zip文件的sha256如下

另外也提供了msi安装包，https://artifacts.elastic.co/downloads/elasticsearch/elasticsearch-6.6.1.msi

 尝试使用msi安装包失败，下载的zip解压到c盘，需要给target文件夹设置everyone权限。

 

使用

Run bin/elasticsearch (or bin\elasticsearch.bat on Windows)

Run curl http://localhost:9200/ or Invoke-RestMethod http://localhost:9200 with PowerShell

 

启动之后后台会有一个controller.exe的进程，此进程位于elasticsearch-6.6.1\modules\x-pack-ml\platform\windows-x86_64\bin\controller.exe

对应的company name 是Elasticsearch

 

同时后台有另外一个java.exe进程，在监听9200和9300端口

java.exe同时监听着9200和9300的IPv4和IPv6的端口
