My Inspiring Volleyball Guide

In my school life journey, there is one person who has left an indelible mark on my heart and passion for sports: my PE teacher, Ms Ye.

Before I met Teacher Ye, volleyball was just a distant concept to me. It was during her first volleyball class that everything changed. She had a warm and friendly smile, and her eyes sparkled with enthusiasm for the sport.

She started by patiently demonstrating the basic techniques, like the proper way to serve, pass, and spike. Her movements were so fluid and precise that I was immediately drawn in. Then, she encouraged us to practice. When it was my turn to serve for the first time and I failed miserably, feeling a bit disheartened, she came over, put her hand on my shoulder, and said, "Don't worry. Everyone starts from scratch. Let me show you again."

With her one - on - one guidance, I gradually got the hang of it. As the classes went on, she organized small volleyball games. She would cheer for us, whether we made a great play or made a mistake. Her positive words and unwavering support made me more and more interested in volleyball.

Under her influence, I not only learned the skills of volleyball but also developed a deep seated love for this sport and we actually become good friends. Teacher Ye is truly the one who opened the door to the wonderful world of volleyball for me, and I will always be grateful to her for that.
