Getting Started

Mining monero has never been easier, so get started today
Step 1: Get yourself a Monero address to mine to! We recommend using the Official GUI Wallet if you don't yet have a Monero wallet
Step 2: Download a miner which you want to use. Monero can currently be mined on CPUs, and on NVIDIA and AMD GPUs. Note that mining on GPUs is currently not very efficient. We recommend using XMRig, available at xmrig.com.
Step 3: Setup your miner. Example command line for xmrig:

You can also use the XMRig config wizard
Then sit back and wait for your pending reward to start increasing on your dashboard

If you have a GPU, maximise your returns by mining a different coin (ETH, RVN, etc) on your GPU at the same time as mining Monero on your CPU.

Warnings

We recommend that you do not use Freewallet or Changelly.

Payments

You can see your pending reward on your dashboard.
Payouts are automatically sent once per day if your pending rewards are above 0.1XMR. No fee is charged for automatic payouts.
You can request an instant payout if your pending rewards are above 0.004XMR. This will result in a fee of 0.0004XMR being deducted.
The threshold for automatic payouts is not adjustable.

Pool Fees

We charge a fee of 1.1% on mining rewards. We aim to provide 1 month notice before changing any pool fees.

There are multiple mining pool servers in various locations. Select the closest one to you in order to reduce the number of expired shares.

Mining Ports

When configuring your miner you can choose from the following pool ports

4444 Standard port

443 TLS port

If you are using Nicehash you should use

3333 Nicehash port

The difficulty auto adjusts on all ports apart from 3333. Do not hard code IP addresses as these may change.

Step 3 - Configure Settings

 

Each mining software will have it's own config, but they will all ask for the same information:

Pool Address
The miner will want a pool URL and a port: pool.supportxmr.com:3333

 

Port descriptions:

  • 3333 Low starting diff
  • 5555 Medium starting diff
  • 7777 High starting diff
  • 9000 SSL/TLS

If you can't get through firewall, try these:

  • 8080 Firewall bypass
  • 80 Firewall bypass
  • 443 Firewall bypass w/SSL/TLS

 

Your Monero Address
Often this will be labeled username, but check the instructions.

Your Worker Name
The name you want to be displayed for your worker goes in your miners Password field (ie -p MyWorker)

Optional Fields
You can also set worker names or fixed difficulty through the configuration.

Standard wallet address
(e.g. miner.exe -u 43T...sUW -p MyWorker)

Fixed difficulty of 35000 for the worker
(e.g. miner.exe -u 43T...sUW+35000 -p MyWorker)
