Implement regular expression matching with support for '.' and '*'.
'.' Matches any single character. '*' Matches zero or more of the preceding element.
e matching should cover the entire input string (not partial).
e function prototype should be:
bool isMatch(const char *s, const char *p)
Some examples:
isMatch("aa","a") → false
isMatch("aa","aa") → true
isMatch("aaa","aa") → false
isMatch("aa", "a*") → true
isMatch("aa", ".*") → true
isMatch("ab", ".*") → true
isMatch("aab", "c*a*b") → true
class Solution {
public:
bool isMatch(const char *s, const char *p) {
assert( s && p);
if(*p=='\0') return *s=='\0';
if(*(p+1)!='*'){
if(*p==*s || (*p=='.' && *s!='\0'))
return isMatch(s+1,p+1);
else
return false;
}else{
while(*p==*s || *p=='.' && *s!='\0'){
if(isMatch(s,p+2)) return true;
s++;
}
return isMatch(s,p+2);
}
}
};
