imageboard:

A board that focuses around the posting of images. Very similar to a textboard but it focuses around images rather than text.

The *chans such as 4chan, 7chan, 99chan, and 888chan are examples of imageboards, but there are many others as well.

danbooru

A massive image website where viewers can upload images of various content. Danbooru is like a normal imageboard, only neater(整洁的, 简洁的, 利索的). Where images have no expiration date and are catigorized by tags. danbooru is japanese for "cardboard box"

 

GTFO: An internet acronym(首字母缩略词) short for "get the fuck out". It is used to express indignation(愤怒, 愤慨, 义愤), usually towards stupidity, incompetence(无能力, 不合格, 不能胜任), or both.

It can be used in response to something that is unwelcome.

That guy was annoying and didn't know what he was talking about so I told him to GTFO.

 

shitfest: 1. when a situation or a task at hand goes bad. 2. An event that results in a displeasing outcome. One arrives at a party and finds the situation bad, uncool, boring, lame and/or gay. One would describe the party as a "shitfest". Normally used in context as such, "What a shitfest!"

 

mods: British gangs from the early 60's and 70's who's rival were the Rockers (Teddy Boys). The Mods (short for Modernists) were notorious(臭名昭著的) for pill-popping (blues, bennies(安非他明药片, 兴奋剂), uppers(刺激物的别称), downers(镇定剂; 令人沮丧的人), ecstasy(狂喜, 忘形, 心醉神迷), amphetamines(苯异丙胺, 苯齐巨林,安非他命), barbs(倒钩,尖刻、刻薄的言语), booze(豪饮), goofballs(镇静剂,傻瓜, 白痴), etc., riding really fast on their Lambrettas/Vespas Italian high-performance scooters(踏板车, 小型摩托车), clubbing, orgies(纵酒狂欢, 放荡), well-dressed/chic(高雅的), mod(现代的) hairstyles, listening to jazz/funk(乡土音乐)/sixties R&B/The Who/The Kinks/The Beatles/The Rolling Stones/etc., partying non-stop (the original ravers), and anti-establishment/anarchy(无政府状态, 混乱) against the moors(荒野, 旷野,系住,停泊) of The Establishment(当权派，保守派).

 

janitors:An occupation(职业, 占有, 消遣, 居住) comprised(包含的) mainly of the nigger(黑人; 黑鬼) persuasion(说服, 劝说, 信念).
