LCC6 Project and reddragon project already closed. Only some support work left.
This project can almost approach CMM2 Level.
REQUIREMENTS MANAGEMENT:
The LCM product have specific requirements and requirements document, and baselined after discuss by the SCCB members. those requirements come from the developing practice and some requirements brought by experienced consults. If there is a new change request, a CR should be posted, and SCCB meeting discuss and decide. all the CR can be track by the change synergy. but unfortunately, the original requirement does not updated. in a word, there are some request could not track back to the irigial requirement document. there are no Requirements traceability matrix . it should be a defect.
PROJECT PLANNING:
At first, the project controled by good plan. Estimate by experienced project management export and cm consults. I don't know if there have a Estimate proecss ,risk management and WBS. there are projects plans and maintained for a long time. For force majeure, the project plan changed, project leader changed, developer changed. the plan changed and maintained and every week meeting still be hold.

SUPPLIER AGREEMENT MANAGEMENT:

MEASUREMENT AND ANALYSIS (We talk about CMM, NOT CMMi, so NA)
PROCESS AND PRODUCT QUALITY ASSURANCE:
It is good. we have QA, also we have assessor out side. unfortunately I did not find QA plan and report( weekly report not enough). go to PROJECT PLANNING part.
CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT:
It is almost perfect from technical point of view! Because the project is about CM product? there are no CM plan document and report.go to PROJECT PLANNING part.
Establish Baselines,Track and Control Changes,Establish Integrity,Institutionalize a Managed Process.
Relevant Stakeholders database backup, permission limited, package transfer. co-work control, change control and so on.
After discuss the Process , we can talk about the human resource management.
The project have many technical experts , for example,
Robert is a preciseness CM expert, he good at shell and perl.Any question, he can give you a format answer.
Paul is a clear consultant, any question, he always find many solution.
Without those expert, there are no LCM.
Also, company provide enough fund.
About technique and tools:
The project have the CMT as base, we need not write compile and build script . save enough time.
change synergy and CM Synergy is helpful to the change management and cm management. Let the manage process clearly.
Analyse The process, HR, tools, the conclusion:
The process can repeat in the company, part of process can repeat in some other companies. But HR and tool are difficult repeat in other company. Seldom of companies have those kind of HR and Tools.
About the next product:
The next product will be sucessful, haven't many difficult problems. it will haven't huge difference with the pre-product.
