My May Day Journey in Nanchang with My Two Friends

This May Day, two of my good friends came to visit me in Nanchang. As soon as they arrived, our fun trip started.
On the first day, we went to the Jiangxi Provincial Museum. When we walked in, it was like entering a treasure house. The porcelain was so beautiful with fine patterns that we couldn't take our eyes off them. The old sculptures seemed to tell stories about the past. We walked around learned about each thing. Before we knew it, half a day passed.
After leaving the museum, we were really hungry, so we went to Dashiyuan. As soon as we got there, the smell of food was everywhere. We found a busy small restaurant and ordered Nanchang rice noodles and fried dumplings. The noodles were spicy and tasty, and the dumplings were crispy outside and soft inside. We ate a lot and talked and laughed all the time.
The next day, we visited the Tengwang Pavilion. It looked very grand by the river. The river wind made us feel fresh. Looking at the nice view and reading the poems on the walls, we could almost see old scholars writing poems there.
In the evening, we went to the August 1st Nanchang Uprising Memorial Hall. We were lucky to see the light show. The square was full of people. The lights changed on the buildings, and with exciting music, they showed the revolutionary history vividly. We stood in the crowd, feeling excited and admiring the heroes.
After the light show, we were very tired. We went to the 24 hour library in Jiangxi to rest. It was very quiet inside, only the sound of turning pages. We sat in a corner, and the smell of books made us relax. We didn't talk much, just enjoyed the peace.
On the third day, I took my friends to my school, Jiangxi Normal University. The campus was full of green trees and looked great. I showed them the teaching buildings, the library, and the small garden where I used to go. I told them many funny stories from my school days. When we got to the playground, we even had a running race. We were out of breath but very happy.
Three days passed quickly. When I sent my friends to the train station, we all felt a bit sad to say goodbye. During this May Day, we saw beautiful sights, ate delicious food, and experienced Nanchang's history and culture. I will always remember these memories and hope to travel with them to more interesting places next time.
